Mathematics Application
Question: Write an essay on UCAS PGCE Mathematics Application? Answer: Mathematicians look for prototypeand utilize them to invent newconjectures (Stewart, 2003). Mathematicians solve the truth or falsity of the assumptions by mathematical proof. Through the use ofconceptandlogic, mathematics widened fromcalculation, counting, measurement, as well as the systematic study of thephysical motions of object and shapes (Rudman, 2007). I am pertaining for the UCAS PGCE mathematics to be a teacher who teach and inspire the upcoming generation and help them to use mathematics in their daily lives (Jones, 2012). I love mathematics from my previous days of schooling and even I stood up amongst top three achievers in the mathematics. Even though my current background is business, but still I had a deep connection with mathematics. Classmates of mine in high school came to me for learning mathematics in pre-exam days. This also leads to my deeper understanding of this subject. I love to teach, and I want to pass my education and knowledge to younger generations so that they can have a great future in the field of mathematics. I cherish every moment with children, not only by teaching, but also by encouraging them, widening their minds to face challenges of society and handling them in the best way. Currently I am doing online mathematics teaching as well as training of teaching which will be complete by the month of May. I had done masters in mathematics and previous degrees I got from outside of the UK. My experience includes the three part time jobs and I am punctual. I am a family man, having two children. Since shifting to the UK, I have worked with different community centers and schools. Currently I am also working as a secretary at the community center and for an Agency in high school as a cover supervisor, I experienced talent to manage, to interact with children smoothly. This job introduces me to the education system in the UK, from combined talents, special education needs (SEN) as well as different learning styles. I have worked for Non-Government Organization as Project Manager, which funded by USAID. The aim of the project was to empower and educate young children in different countries, to develop their own business (USAID INTERNSHIPS, 1979). Under limited funding and time, I managed to do all tasks before the deadlines with good team working skills. I have also worked as an Admin and Finance Officer for the university, as to manage the Universitys income is one of the main roles. I increased the Universitys income ten times in the eight years and this was possible with persuasion skills as well as good financial management skills. I also volunteered at Manchester Advice Centre as a Receptionist, where I had to deal with a different attitude and culture. That job improves my organization skills, which I could combine with my profession of teaching. At last, I feel that I am the right man for a UCAS PGCE mathematics teacher and have the capacity to deal with all problems and situations in the best way. References Jones, S. (2012).
